Libraries, authors, and writing groups across the globe are coming together to celebrate independent creativity, community storytelling, and the power of local voices. Whether you’re hosting an event or just gathering a few friends to tune in to our live virtual sessions, Indie Author Day 2025 is all about connection and collaboration.

How You Can Join In

You can take part in two ways:

Host your own Indie Author Day event: big or small! Use our free resources to plan a library showcase, open mic, writing workshop, or watch party.

Join an event near you: meet local authors, discover great reads, and connect with others in your creative community.

All events are free to host or attend. We’ve provided everything you need–including a Sample Program, Marketing Kit, and Host Registration Form.
