8th ANNUAL
Our goal for Indie Author Day (IAD) has always been to bring libraries, authors, and readers together on one single day each year. While the first six years have helped us achieve that goal, we expanded the way we thought about Indie Author Day in 2021.
Libraries and organizations can register to host an event any time throughout the year and we will continue to be a resource to help ensure your event is a success in your community. Our traditional IAD has taken on a slightly new format: Friday, November 1st we’ll announce our 2024 Indie Author Project contest winners in a live awards ceremony and then host live author panels throughout the day on Saturday, November 2nd. Join us on this exciting journey as we continue to grow this community!
Full schedule of events coming this Fall.
WHAT IS
Indie Author Day?
Each year, libraries and organizations around the world bring local indie authors, writers, and their communities together for a day of education, networking, writing, open mics, live panels, and so much more! Whether you currently have a similar event planned or would like to start one, registering with us is free and you gain access to all of our resources, workshop videos, promotional graphics, and support.
