Hurricane Matthew Impacts Some Indie Author Day Events

Just a few days before Indie Author Day, Hurricane Matthew is causing libraries across the East Coast to close their doors for the remainder of the week. Regardless of individual events, the digital Q&A session will still occur internationally on October 8, 2016 and be available for anyone to view on demand at their library or from their homes if they can’t make it to a participating library. It will also be available to view after October 8.

Authors interested in attending local Indie Author Day events should stay tuned to their library’s website and our where page, which we’ll keep updated with information on cancellations and rescheduled events as it becomes available.

Librarians have worked hard to put together the best possible events for their indie writing communities, and they’re not about to let a hurricane rain on your parade. If you discover that your library’s event will be rescheduled, be sure to save the date and come out once the storm has passed!
